Properties: pentaerythritol is a white or pale yellow crystalline powder, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in water, methanol, glycerin, glycol, formamide, insoluble in acetone, benzene, paraffin, ether and carbon tetrachloride. Easy to be the general organic acid esterification, and dilute sodium hydroxide solution with no reaction.
USES: for making alkyd resin and paint, plastic stabilizer and plasticizer, and for making pentaerythritol explosive.
Packing and storage: woven bags are lined with plastic film and each bag weighs 25kg net. Store in a dry, clean and ventilated warehouse.
